The Houston Rockets have reportedly put Jeremy Lin & Omer Asik on the trading block.
Ken Berger of CBS Sports is reporting the Rockets are confident of picking up Dwight Howard in free agency, and as a result, have made both Lin and Asik available perhaps to clear cap space.
The Rockets have the first meeting with Dwight Howard today, which happens to be the first day of free agency.
Word of the possible trade of Lin and Asik comes despite the fact the Rockets Sunday traded Thomas Robinson to the Portland Trailblazer in another cap clearing move.
Both Lin and Asik are owed $8.3 million dollars in each of the next two seasons.
One possible scenario is Lin going to the Detroit Pistons in a sign and trade deal for Jose Calderon.
