Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao and his wife Jinkee are responding to rumors they are going bankrupt, reports the Digital Journal.
The speculation became rampant when the couple decided to sell their 2.7 million dollar property in Los Angeles. Adding to the fire was the couple’s spending on his successful re-election to the Philippine Congress and his wife’s winning campaign as Vice-governor of Saranganin.
In an interview on GMA News, the couple says they will buy another property in Beverly Hills, one that won’t draw complaints like the ones from neighbors of their current LA property.
“Every time we go there, our neighbors are complaining because there are so many people … so we want to sell the property and find a gated and secured place,” said Jinkee.
