The ratings are out and Fresh Off the Boat in its second week scored a second place finish behind one of the country’s most popular shows, reports TV By The Numbers.
The ABC comedy posted a 1.7 rating in the all important 18 -49 age group in its first showing last night of the double episode. The second episode scored a 1.8 rating.
NCIS which is the 12th highest rated program in the country netted a 2.8 rating for the entire hour on CBS.
For the hour, Fresh Off the Boat averaged 5.9 million viewers in the age group most important to advertisers, 18-49.
It bested Master Chef Junior on Fox, the CW’s The Flash and NBC’s Parks & Recreation.
For the night, Fresh Off the Boat placed 3rd and 4th out of 15 programs.
