Fresh Off the Boat’s Hudson Yang Takes Over the White House

Hudson Yang who plays Eddie Huang on ABC’s Fresh Off the Boat had a run on the White House this week.

Yang visited the White House to join in ceremonies for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.

The White House posted numerous photos of Yang’s adventures at the home of the Commander in Chief.

Hudson did as would any kid checking out the food in the White House kitchen and getting a personal audience with White House executive chef and Filipino American Cristeta Pasia Comerford.

Snuck into the kitchen and found Cris Comerford, the White House’s executive chef, aka the Filipina Commander-in-Chef, aka the person who only let me eat an apple. -Hudson #AAPI

Then Hudson buddied up with Bo, the first family’s pet dog. We’ll assume Hudson left Bo at the White House and didn’t sneak him past the Secret Service.

Hudson became more comfortable, pondering how he would sell his plan to put a dog in every kid’s home to his cabinet and then the American public.

Thinking in the State Dining Room. Mostly about why we’re not eating lunch here, ha! -Hudson Yang #AAPIA photo posted by The White House (@whitehouse) on

Convinced he had himself a winner, Hudson prepares to court the vicious White House media.

Hudson’s father Jeff is no doubt already planning Hudson’s run for President in 2036. #HudsonYangforPresident
