After his sold out concert in Michigan, Bruno Mars stunned his audience by proclaiming that he will be donating $1 million of his profits to the Flint water crisis victims, according to Bet.com.
CNN stated that with cost cutting measures resulting in water contamination in this low income area, many people were effected physically as well as financially. The money collected will go towards the rehabilitation of the victims, as well as the improvement of the water quality. Mars will be passing on the money to the Community Foundation of Greater Flint post wrapping up his tour.
As per freep.com, his show not only dazzled the fans in the arena with unique costumes and lighting, but also reassured their faith in public figures.
