Two months after being accused of pushing  a woman into having unwanted sex during a date, Aziz Ansari remains out of the public eye.

However, Adam Scott, who appeared alongside Ansari in NBC’s Park and Recreation says the fellow actor “is doing great.”

“I don’t know what to say on the record about Aziz,’ Scott said to Vulture. ‘I don’t want to say anything that could be misconstrued.”

Ansari has not made a public appearance since the accusations. He even skipped the Screen Actors Guild Awards despite being up for a nomination in the Best Acting category for Master of None.

In an interview in Babe, his date accused Ansari of continuing to pursue sex despite her cues to the contrary.

“I know I was physically giving off cues that I wasn’t interested,” she told Babe. “I don’t think that was noticed at all, or if it was, it was ignored.”

Ansari has acknowledged going on the date and said he was “surprised and concerned” after the accusation which she made the next day to him in a text.

He said “he took her words at heart” and continues to support the #MeToo movement.
