Teacher accused of making racist remarks suspended.

Stout Middle School

A school district in Dearborn, Michigan Friday suspended a teacher accused by a student of making multiple racist reports, reports Press & Guide.

“(He) said that we should take showers because we stink and stuff like that,” the 13-year-old student said to WDIV.

“First he said: ‘Are you American? Do you want to be? Why don’t you go back to your country?’ That I should be more grateful because he gives me free food, free education,” the student said.

The teacher who has not been identified reportedly said his statements have been misunderstood.

“This teacher clearly has a bias against Muslim women who wear the headscarf,” said Fatina Abdrabboh, of the Muslim American Advocacy League.

  1. RE: Teacher accused of making racist remarks suspended: Maybe suspension is what this ignorant teacher needs so he can educate himself out of hate and ignorance but ignorant peeps that’s hateful is beyond redemption, and should just be fired. Someone like that should not be teaching when he himself lacks the knowledge and education to better himself, what more with influencing young minds.
