Celebrity Aaron Carter who first gained fame in the late 1990’s as a pre-teen and teen star is being called out for his video showing him feigning a Chinese accent as he orders Chinese take out.
It’s unclear why Carter posted that video on Instagram other than he thought it was funny. He posted it with the hashtag #satire. Fans immediately pushed back.
“WTF, you doing, brah,” wrote one.
“Just soiled what was left of his non-existent career,” wrote another.
“This isn’t going to end well,” wrote a third.
Just last month Entertainment Tonight reported his sister Angel received a court order extending a restraining order against her brother protecting her from threats and harassment.
Aaron claimed his sister lied to obtain the order which lasts until November 2020.
“My sister lied over and over in an effort to take away my 2nd Amendment rights and she did it on behalf of my brother [Nick Carter] to silence me talking about how he raped and sexually assaulted multiple women. I will abide by the judge’s order, but I will not stop speaking on behalf of victims such as Melissa Schuman. I am saddened by my family and what they have done to me. Your lives have broken my heart,” he wrote in an Instagram story, according to ET.
