Fire ripped through a three story building in New York’s Chinatown shortly after midnight this morning.
NBC New York reports some 130 firefighters responded to the blaze.
It happened in a mixed residential and commercial building on Grand Street and Allen.
According to ABC7, flames shot through the roof and smoke billowed high into the sky.
Businesses are located on the first floor of the building with apartments on the upper floors.
The three firefighters are being treated for minor injuries.
No word yet on what caused the fire which took two hours to put out.
As AsAmNews reported just yesterday, a fire in Oakland’s Chinatown displaced some 14 businesses Wednesday. That fire started in a dumpster, but ran up some wires and into a building. The cause is still under investigation, but firefighters suspect that fire is accidental, according to FOX2.
