National day of action to #StopAsianHate underway

A National Day of Action to Stop Asian Hate organized by a coalition of Asian American groups is set for today, Friday.

The program includes a worldwide one hour vigil originating from Atlanta, but streamed worldwide, beginning at 7:30 Eastern Time today. You can get more information and register at www.326vigil.org.

You can also watch live here:

Hundreds of Asian American organizations from 43 states and territories have signed on to support the event. Participants are being urged to sign a petition urging President Biden to provide emergency relief for the Asian American community.

A virtual and ongoing bystander intervention program is being offered to stop Asian harassment and bullying. AsAmNews originally reported on this last year.
