Filipina American artist Olivia Rodrigo took home three VMAs Sunday night in New York.
MTV awarded her two of its most prestigious awards- Song of the Year for Driver’s License and Best New Artist.
“I just feel so grateful I get to write music and make stuff that I love and call it my job,” said the 18-year-old sensation as she accepted the award for Best New Artist.
Her hit Driver’s License also won for best Push Performance of the Year. In just its first week, the song received 76.1 million streams and rocketed to number 1.
“I want to thank all of you guys, the fans. This is so incredible. This has been the most magical year of my life, and it’s all because of you guys, so thank you so much. Thank you to the VMAS and everyone who helped me make SOUR.”
Fans got plenty of Rodrigo. She also took the stage to perform Good 4 U.
