It’s the song that just keeps swimming along.
The popular children’s tune Baby Shark out of South Korea is shattering YouTube records. It’s now topped 10 billion views.
This just a few months after breaking 7 billion when it became the most viewed video on YouTube ever in November, reports Ubergizmo.
From Korean American singer Hope Segoine and South Korean company Pinkfong, the song originally debut in 2016 in South Korea.
It didn’t enter the stream of consciousness in the United States until 2019 and has been picking up momentum ever since, according to Ohio News Time.
Baby Shark is now a TV show on Nickelodeon and a movie is also in the works, reports Gadgets360.
The Washington Nationals even claimed the song as their anthem during last baseball season. A collection of NFTs has also been developed.
