Last night, “Squid Game” made history while winning two Critics Choice Awards.

The popular show was released on Netflix and became its most-watched series in the world within months.

The show was nominated for three Critics Choice Awards, according to CNN: best drama series, Best Actor in a Drama Series (Lee Jung-Jae) and Best Foreign Language Series.

The series won Best Foreign Language Series. Lee Jung-jae won Best Actor in a Drama Series. Lee kept his acceptance speech short and sweet. He thanked everyone who supported “Squid Game.”

The show is the first winner of the new Best Foreign Language Series category.
