Filipino fast-food chain Jollibee is opening its first Seattle location in 2024, SEA Today reports.
The storefront will be located at the Rainier Valley Square strip mall, in a building formerly occupied by MOD Pizza. Signs advertising the new Jollibee now sit outside the building.
A spokesperson for Jollibee told SEA Today that the Seattle location is expected to open in late 2024. The date could change depending on renovation and construction progress.
Jollibee opened 48 years ago in the Philippines and now has over 1,500 storefronts in 17 countries. The chain is known for its spaghetti that comes with a banana ketchup sauce.
According to Eater Seattle, Jollibee has one restaurant in Tukwila, Washington, already. A second location is set to open in Tacoma in the next few weeks.
