Olivia Rodrigo’s tour will raise money for a new abortion fund

Olivia Rodrigo announced in a video on TikTok that she is launching a new initiative in support of reproductive rights as part of her ‘GUTS World Tour.’ The initiative, Funds 4 Good, will work with community-based nonprofits to support women, girls, and people seeking reproductive freedom.

The Independent reported that the 21-year-old pop sensation made the announcement by posting a video with her fan account.

“A portion of all of the proceeds from the GUTS World Tour will go to the Fund 4 Good,” Rodrigo explained in the video. “And for the North American leg of the GUTS World Tour, I’ll be partnering with the National Network of Abortion Funds to help those impacted by health care barriers and getting the reproductive care they deserve.”

Rodrigo is also partnering with the National Network of Abortion Funds for the North American portion of the tour, reported Teen Vogue. She said that fans can learn more about the National Network of Abortion Funds on her tour stops.

This isn’t the first time that the singer has been outspoken about reproductive rights. Following the Supreme Court’s overturning of the landmark Roe v. Wade ruling in 2022, Rodrigo partnered on stage with Lily Allen for a duet to Allen’s song “F-ck You” that she dedicated to the Justices who overturned the ruling.

The Independent reported her telling the audience at the time. “I’m devastated and terrified that so many women and so many girls are going to die because of this.”
