California Highway Patrol searching for 2 missing boys

On Saturday, the California Highway Patrol issued an Endangered Missing Advisory for Daniel Wu, 9, and David Wu, 4, who went missing early in the morning.

According to ABC 7 San Francisco, the boys were last seen in Mountain View around 1:30 a.m. Authorities believe that their mother, 38-year-old Taylor Wu, took the boys in a a blue 2018 Ford Escape with license plate “VB9V1W” from Missouri.

Police say the boys’ father is Jialiang Wu. The nature of the relationship between Taylor and Jialiang is unclear at this time.

According to NBC News, police appear to be concerned for the overall safety of the boys. It is unclear if they are in specific danger. The Endangered Missing Advisory can be upgraded to an Amber alert if authorities believe the boys are in imminent danger.

Both boys have brown hair and brown eyes. According to NBC News Bay Area, Daniel is 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 67 pounds. David is 3 feet tall and weighs 40 pounds. Anyone with information about the boys
