I have to say it. Donald Trump is becoming a mockery of himself. The presidential candidate who says he could shoot someone and not lose votes, continues to make one nonsensical remark after another.
One of the latest is his comment on Sunday as police escorted a turban-wearing Sikh protester from a rally in Muscatine, Iowa.
Watch the clip below as the protester is taken away by security.

After the man exits the seating area, Trump says “He wasn’t wearing one of those hats was he?” Was he wearing one of those hats? and he never will.”
It wasn’t exactly clear at the time, but apparently Trump was referring to campaign caps worn by supporters. The candidate has a common man’s aww shuck way about him, and conservative voters are eating it up.
He’s relating to voters who share his angst on immigration. He’s also scaring people who celebrate diversity and show compassion for those who are downtrodden and in need of help.
Trump has to be the first serious presidential candidate who can talk about shooting someone and getting away with it. Comparisons with Hitler have been made before. Those comparisons may not be as far-fetched as some might have believed.
