Houston, We Got a Problem: Black-Asian Relations

Len Martin VideoA rash of videos have been posted of late highlighting racial differences between the Black and Asian communities.

The latest comes from a Black man who thought it would be funny to go to an Asian restaurant and make references to dogs and cats on the menu.

The video follows several incidents at nail salons involving Asian employees and their Black customers.

In one video an Asian shopkeeper in Tulsa, OK is seen punching a Black customer after that customer was confronted about her child allegedly stealing an item.

In another video, a brawl breaks out when a customer refused to pay $5 for having her eyebrows redone after expressing dissatisfaction with the outcome.

Despite all this, African Americans have been among the biggest supporters of Crazy Rich Asians. That isn’t a surprise because they have also been among the biggest supporters of ABC’s Fresh Off the Boat.

Marketwatch reports 6 percent of ticket buyers for Crazy Rich Asians have been Black.

We have entered an era where White supremacist have been emboldened by the current political climate. Don’t fall for their divide and conquer tactics. The resistance will only succeed if we stick together.

  1. Houston, We got a Problem: Black-Asian relations: Where is the BLM contingent now? I thought they were about all minorities. Guess not.
