Senator Daniel Inouye on Thursday will become just the 31st person to lie in state in the Capitol Rotunda, reported the Washington Post.
The Senator is a decorated World War II veteran. He’s also the second longest serving US Senator in history. The public may pay respects to his body tomorrow from 11:30 until 8 p.m. The funeral is scheduled for Friday with a memorial planned in his home state of Hawaii Sunday.
