When NBC unceremoniously tossed Ann Curry from the Today Show set, Angelina Jolie vowed no one from NBC would ever interview her again except Ann.
The two have struck a close relationship after Ann interviewed the Hollywood celebrity several times.
Now the Daily Mail is reporting that the network is putting pressure on Ann to get the first interview with Angelina since she announced she underwent a double mastectomy rather than risk getting cancer. Jolie’s mother died of cancer at the age of 56. Angelina is also at high risk for cancer because she carries a defective gene.
Ann has sent the actress flowers and let it be known that she’d like the interview with her. Other than that, Ann says she doesn’t plan to put any pressure on her friend to snag the interview.
You can read a lot more about this in the Daily Mail.
