I predicted a few days ago that rumors and speculation about possible trades for Jeremy Lin would run rampant this week.
But this one from the iSportsTimes is a doozy.
Blogger Brian Ethridge speculates that Jeremy Lin could return to the New York Knicks. Yes, the Knicks–the team where Linsanity began and the team that let Lin run off to the Houston Rockets.
Ethridge speculates such a trade could happen if Lin would accept a role on the bench.
That seems hella crazy since the Knicks let Lin go in the first place because they didn’t want to pay him what the Rockets where offering.

And don’t forget, that $25 million dollar contract Lin signed is back loaded. So that means the Knicks would have to pay him $5 million this season and $15 million next season, according to the Sporting News
So really folks, do you see this trade happening? Where do you see Lin being traded? And which team would be best for Lin. Because the thought of Lin going back to the Knicks is crazy, speculation that Lin is on the trading block is real.
Personally, I’m still rooting for the Lakers to get Lin. But the latest report is that the Lakers don’t want to take on Jeremy’s contract either.
