Want China Times quoting a news story from Chinese broadcaster CCTV is reporting ABC has once again apologized for the “kill everyone in China” remark made on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
ABC issued the apology in an email to China’s official Xinhua news agency just one day after thousands protested the remark in at least 23 cities in the United States.
In the letter, ABC reportedly promised to strengthen internal review procedures to ensure similar incidents don’t happen again in the future.
Jimmy Kimmel also reportedly sent an email to the organizers of Saturday’s protest.
Both ABC and Kimmel have previously apologized for the incident.
Wang Tian, one of the protest organizers said he would evaluate the apology letter and decide in a few days what the next steps might be.
