Director Justin Lin took home the top prize for Best Action/Adventure Film at the 40th Saturn Awards Thursday night.
The Saturn Awards honors the best in science fiction, fantasy and horror films and television.
It is presented by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films.
Fast & Furious 6 from Universal took home $238,679,850 in domestic ticket sales and 788.7 worldwide. It was the highest grossing film in the entire franchise, according to Box Office Mojo.
