A San Francisco man is under arrest suspected of plastering anti-Chinese graffiti throughout the Portola and Bayview neighborhoods of San Francisco,  reports the San Francisco Chronicle.

John Schenone faces five felony charges of vandalism and another five of committing a hate crime.

Witnesses lead authorities to the suspect who lives in the same neighborhood where  the words “no more Chinese” was spray painted on vacant homes and buildings.

Police called the incidents “obviously hate motivated.”
