SF Gate: Search for Missing UC Berkeley Grad Student Turns to Ocean Shore

Shuqin ZhangCrews searched all day Sunday around Point Reyes, California in Marin County, for a missing UC Berkeley grad student last seen on Thursday, reports SF Gate.

Shuqin Zhang never made it for her flight back to China and friends describe her as feeling depressed of late.

Police found several items belonging to her on the cliffs above the ocean Saturday after finding her Mercedes in the same area the day before.

The Berkeley Police Department has not released any new information about what they might have found on Sunday.

Zhang is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, and about 90 pounds.

The 22-year-old is pursuing her master’s degree in statistics.
