The father of Tony Award-winning actress Lea Salonga has died, announced the actress on Twitter.

Feliciano Salonga, 86, died last night in the Philippines.
The Rear Admiral is the former chairman of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority.

His body is lying in state at the SBMA Gym.
His daughter is currently starring in the Broadway production of Allegiance as Kei Kimura. Two performances were scheduled today, but there was no announcement made about whether Salonga appeared. Salonga is also a judge on the Philippines version of the television show, The Voice.
