A 30-year-old Asian woman was found dead on Thursday outside her fiancé’s Chinatown home in Houston, Texas according to the The Express Tribune.

The Houston Chronicle reports that her body was found in her driveway at 6:30 AM. Her fiancé discovered her body as he was leaving for work on Thursday morning. According to Houston Police Department Detective J.T. Roscoe, her keys were in her hand and she had been shot.

Xinhua adds that police say she appeared “as if she was just about to get into a car.” Police do not believe her death was linked to a robbery as her keys and bags were not taken.

The Houston Police Department Homicide Division is investigating this case.
