American Flag Stolen from Go for Broke Monument

It was a painful incident for 16,000 Japanese Americans who served the United States during World War II.

Someone stole the American flag from the Go for Broke monument in Los Angeles which honors those veterans.

CBS Los Angeles reports it happened in Little Tokyo earlier this week. Someone climbed the flag pole and snatched the flag. then wore it like a cape.

Surveillance camera captured the incident on video which you can see in this report from ABC7.
