An Uber driver in Sacramento, California is seen on dash cam video struggling with a passenger accused of attempting to hijack the vehicle.
CNN reports that more than 20 minutes after Albert Castro had picked up Tswj Vang, the passenger allegedly grabbed the wheel in an attempt to take control of the car.
Castro says the two wrestled for the steering wheel while traveling at 65 MPH on the highway.
“He goes ‘oh, you’re gonna crash.’ No, I’m not gonna crash. And he says ‘no, no you’re gonna crash’ and he laughs and then drifts away and then two seconds later he pops back up and grabs the wheel and we fly across two lanes of traffic,” the Uber driver said.
According to NBC2 , Vang posted on his Facebook page video of himself partying at a bar an hour before the incident on Uber. He also posted a Facebook live from inside the Uber.
