Nimble Made is a dress shirt brand founded by an Asian American and designed for Asian American men. According to HuffPost, the founder Wesley Kang was searching everywhere for the perfect dress shirt but could not find one to fit his slim proportions.
Along with co-founder Tanya Zhang, he launched the brand in hopes of helping other Asian American men shop for the perfect dress shirt. The shirts are not just for Asian American men, but Nimble Made hopes to send a message to include men of all body types.
“We market as ‘actually slim fit’ dress shirts that are off the rack, inspired by the personal struggles of us as Asian American co-founders,” said Kang.
According to a SprezzaSix interview, Nimble Made also aspires to open dialogue about Asian American representation and to achieve a new sizing standard.
The company says the shirts are priced around $65 to $80 and are already tailored.
