Three teens charged with hate crime in attack on Asian woman

Three teens have been charge with a hate crime in an attack on a 51-year-old Asian woman in New York, reports PIX11.

Police released a photo Saturday night of a fourth suspect who remains outstanding.

According to NBC New York, three 15 year olds and a suspect of unknown age made anti-Asian remarks toward the victim during a ride on a New York city bus. One of the suspects hit the woman over the head with an umbrella, causing an injury which doctors needed to treat with stitches.

The suspect accused of attacking the victim with an umbrella has not been caught, reported CBS New York.

The suspects who were arrested near the scene of the incident have been charged with hate crime assaults, menacing and harassment.
