Marine reservist arrested in FBI raid on weapon charges

The FBI on Wednesday arrested a Marine Reservist in Irvine, CA on possession of illegal firearms, reports CBS2.

Jason Fong spent six years in the Marines, according to his mom who told CBS2 her son has been framed.

“He maybe sometimes has a temper,” Fong’s mother said. “But he never threatening people’s lives. Never.”

On Scene TV reports the FBI SWAT team raided the 24-year old’s home and had been watching it for several weeks. Neighbors and friends described Fong as quiet and “good-natured.” Authorities took him into custody without incident.

“I think this is kind of fascist,” she said. “The government can do this just because people have guns, whatever.”

Bail has been set at $1 million and his next court appearance is set for Friday, according to public records seen by AsAmNews.
