AsAmNews launches I Vote Campaign

Early voting is surging across the country and Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders are determined not to be left behind.

Over the next two weeks, AsAmNews will publish photos of Asian Americans sharing their pride in joining the Democratic process and making sure their voices are heard.

We will share these photos on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and on AsAmNews.com.

We are encouraging you to submit photos of yourself sporting an “I voted” sticker, holding a mail in ballot and showing off your home made “I Voted” sign. You get extra points for creativity.

You can share your photos by tagging us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. You may also email your photo to info at asamnews dot com.

We look forward to seeing your beautiful faces beaming with pride as you declare “I voted.”

We hope this little act of social engagement will encourage your friends and family to do the same. Help us out by sharing our posts on social media.

Asian America must be heard in 2020. Let’s do this.

The I Voted campaign is supported by Act to Change and The 2020 Project. If you’re group would like to support this campaign, let us know by contacting us at info at asamnews dot com.

AsAmNews has Asian America in its heart. We’re an all-volunteer effort of dedicated staff and interns. Check out our new Instagram account. Go to our Twitter feed and Facebook page for more content. Please consider interning, joining our staff, or submitting a story.
