Dwayne Rock Johnson and The Jungle Cruise steamed to number 1 at the box office with $34.2 million domestic haul, reports Indie Wire.
Together with the international box office and $30 million in Video On Demand sales on Disney+, Jungle Cruise took in $91.8 million overall, 45% of its $200 million total cost.
It’s the second week in a row that a movie featuring a prominent Asian American or Pacific Islander landed in the top spot.

Last week the M Night Shyamalan-directed Old scored the number 1 spot with an opening weekend of $16.5 million.
However, the movie fell 60 percent on its second week.
Snake Eyes, starring Henry Golding and last week’s number 2 movie, took in $4 million for a disappointing two week total of $22.3 million.
