Jogger speaks out after being beaten & bitten in wealthy SF neighborhood

A jogger in San Francisco’s ritzy Pacific Heights is speaking publicly for the first time after four teens beat, robbed and even bit her to steal her cell phone.

“I’m not safe in Pacific Heights I don’t know where I can be safe at to be honest,” the Asian American woman who asked not to be identified told ABC7 News exclusively. “I’m not the only Asian female hang out by myself in the neighborhood.”

Reporter Dion Lim originally reported on last Sunday’s attack on Twitter.

The San Francisco Police Department arrived within minutes after being alerted by witnesses. The woman is grateful for all the support she received.

“There are consequences to do this thing,” she said.
