We’re getting our first look at actress Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan in the upcoming Disney Plus series Ms. Marvel.
Polygon reports that she’s described as a Pakistani-American teenager-turned-elastic superheroine.
No date has been revealed for the fall 2022 release.
According to the California New Times, she eventually gains the power to change her own shape and become a superhero.
The Disney Plus series will be the formal introduction of the character who will take larger roles in The Marvels, the sequel to Captain Marvel also due out in 2022.
