Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak win big at Soul Train Awards

A big night for Silk Sonic at the Soul Train Awards. The duo of Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak won three awards Sunday night at the historic Apollo Theatre in New York.

They took away the prize for Song of the Year for their hit Leave the Door Open as well as Video of the Year and the Ashford and Simpson Songwriter’s Award.

Silk Sonic also opened the show with a performance of Fly As Me.

They would later return to close out the show with Smoking Out the Window.

Jazmine Sullivan took away the prize for both Best R&B/Soul Female Artist and Album Of The Year for Heaux Tales.

The awards show honored Ashanti with its Lady of Soul Award and Maxwell accepted the Living Legend Award.
