Disney+ has announced the full cast of the latest “Star Wars” series “The Acolyte.”
The media company previously announced that Amandla Stenberg. According to Variety, she will be joined by Lee Jung-jae (“Squid Game”), Manny Jacinto (“Nine Perfect Strangers”), Dafne Keen (“His Dark Materials”), Jodie Turner-Smith (“Queen & Slim”), Rebecca Henderson (“Inventing Anna”), Charlie Barnett (“Russian Doll”), Dean-Charles Chapman (“1917”) and Carrie-Anne Moss (“The Matrix”).
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show is a mystery-thriller that follows a former Padawan who reunites with her Jedi master to investigate high crimes. It is set during the final days of the High Republic era.
Production for the show is underway but a release date has not been announced.
