Two people are dead and one person is critically injured after a shooting at a South Philadelphia Chinese restaurant late Tuesday night.
According to NBC Philadelphia, the shooting occurred around 11:30 p.m. at the Shangri-La takeout restaurant along the 5400 block of Chester Avenue in the Kingsessing neighborhood. Police believe gunmen fired at least 16 shots inside the restaurant.
ABC 6 reports that police arrived to find three victims lying on the floor with gunshot wounds. A 43-year-old woman and a 19-year-old were pronounced dead at the hospital. A 20-year-old is currently in critical condition.
Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage two get a better description of the two shooters.
