Lionsgate has released a new photo that gives audiences a first look at the cast of the upcoming film Joy Ride.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the film is being directed by Crazy Rich Asians co-writer Adele Lim. It will be her directorial debut. Until now, the hard-R comedy was previously referred to as the Untitled Adele Lim Project.
The film follows Audrey, played by Ashley Park, a woman on a business trip to Asia that goes sideways. She turns to her childhood best friend Lolo (Sherry Cola), college best friend Kat (Stephanie Hsu) and Lolo’s eccentric cousin Deadeye (Sabrina Wu) for help.
Joy Ride also features Ronny Chieng (Crazy Rich Asians), Desmond Chiam (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), Alexander Hodge (Insecure), and Chris Pang (Crazy Rich Asians).
The film hits theaters on June 23.
