Filipino American joins Utah Jazz for Summer League

Filipino American basketball player Kihei Clark is set to join the Utah Jazz for their NBA summer league roster.

Tony Jones of The Athletic reported in a tweet that sources told the publication Clark had signed a deal with the team.

Clark previously played basketball at the University of Virginia. According to The Roanoke Times, Clark spent his fifth and final year there last season, averaging  10.7 points and 5.4 assists.

The 5-foot-10 guard went undrafted during the NBA draft on Thursday, June 22. A University of Virginia basketball blog called “Streaking the Lawn” believes Clark’s best chance to make the official NBA roster is to impress during the summer league.
