ASU professor resigns, then confronts Muslim with hijab

An Arizona State University professor caught on video confronting a pro-Palestinian protestor is no longer welcomed on campus, reports 12News.

Video released on X shows shows post-doctorate research scholar Jonathan Yudelman getting into the face of a pro-Palestinian Muslim woman wearing a hijab.

“You don’t like it, go back to Jihad,” an unidentified man is heard saying as Yudelman literally comes within finger-length of the woman. That woman is seeing backing away as Yudelman aggressively walks towards her.

“You are literally…,” she said before being interrupted.

“I am literally in your face, that’s right,” he responds.

“You disrespect my sense of humanity, b*tch.

According to Muslim Matters, Yudelman has been affiliated with Princeton and Harvard Universities and AsAmNews also found him listed as still listed as a faculty member at the University of Austin, Texas.

It’s not known what led up to the confrontation.

ASU President Michael Crow told News 12 that Yudelman “will never teach here again.” He said the professor had already resigned effective June 30 prior to the incident.

The University said it would conduct its own investigation as well as refer the matter to the Tempe Police Department.

  1. funny the words journalists use…

it says ‘it is not known what led up to the ‘confrontation’????
Confrontation? Doesn’t that imply two people, confronting each other?
Nothing more than what you saw led up to it. They saw a woman in a hijab,
and went after her. That was it

This reminds me of mainstream media during protests, they’ll always use the word
‘clash’s’, even tho it’s obvious cops doing all the attacking
