San Francisco’s Cherry Blossom Festival the past two weekends drew huge crowds into the city’s Japantown.
The festival has been a tradition in San Francisco since the Japan Trade Center opened in 1968.
Many feared that after many businesses shuttered during the pandemic, that the Center would have difficulty recovering.
The tens of thousands who attended the Festival the past two weekends help assure the Japan Trade Center will continue to be an integral part of the San Francisco community.
