Japanese Americans hold solidarity march in solemn Day of Remembrance of incarceration camps

Japanese Americans held a peaceful solidarity march in New York City Sunday on the Day of Remembrance to observe Feb. 19, 1942, the day Executive Order 9066 was signed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt to incarcerate Japanese civilians in the US at the start of WWII. As AsAmNews’s Shirley Ng reports, participants fear history could repeat itself.
