Daily Mail: Top Chef @PadmaLakshmi Shares Her Weight Loss Tips–Cleansing Juice

Padma Lakshmi Top Chef’s Padma Lakshmi has made no secret about her ping pong weight. The host of Top Chef  admits to gaining lots of weight during each season of the hit reality show.

Turns out the secret to taking those pounds off, according to her, is cleansing juice. The Daily Mail reports she shared her secrets and her recipes on her website, padmalakshmi.com.  She claims it increases her metabolism and thus drinks a glass before each meal.

Green tea is her favorite drink and she can’t get through the day without a good breakfast. Red meats are a no no in Lakshmi’s diet, but she eats plenty of fish & poultry

    RE: top chef @PadmaLakshmi shares her weight loss tips-cleasing juice: It is very controversial to say that juice increase metabolism. In fact, there are no mechanism how it can be performed. Yes, juice is useful, but it doesn’t influence metabolism. Only in case when you are dying of thirsty in a desert.
