A man who’s accused of threatening to decapitate Rep Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI), the first Hindu-American congressional representative, is in jail, reports the Times of India.
Unsealed court documents reviewed by CNN show that prosecutors believe Aniruddha Sherbow has been leaving threatening messages for Gabbard’s since 2011.
He’s also accused of sending e-mails to media outlets under the subject heading “Cutting Off Tulsi Gabbard’s Head.”
Sherbow was arrested by Mexican authorities in Tijuana on Wednesday.
