American Kenneth Bae who has been held captive by North Korea for more than 15 months is concerned that his recent return from the hospital back to a labor camp will lead to health problems.
CNN reports that Bae spoke to a Swedish diplomat on Friday.
The tape was released by Chosen Ilbo, a pro-Korean newspaper based in Japan.
On the tape, Bae told the diplomat to tell his family that “I “I have not lost hope and have not given up anything.”
