Battle Creek has already started to generate buzz because it comes from the creator of the Emmy award winning Breaking Bad.
The show from producer and director Vince Gilligan already has a guarantee it will be on the fall schedule, according to the New York Times.
The network has committed to airing 13 episodes even before the pilot is produced.
Gilligan originally came up with the concept for Battle Creek 10 years ago, but back then, no one would touch it.
Following the success of Breaking Bad, doors are swung wide open now for Gilligan.
