Mindy Kaling recently appeared on Late Show with Stephen Colbert to promote her latest movie Late Night, E News reports.
While on the show, a multitude of things happened while Kaling was talking to Colbert.
She starts off by discussing her passion for writing and how she started to write during her childhood.
Then as she was talking about working with Emma Thompson on the movie Late Night, something unexpected happens.
Kaling roasted Colbert for accidentally getting a call on his Apple Watch, but both were gracious about the whole thing and Colbert apologized for the interruption.
In relation to her film, it turns out Kaling actually interviewed some of Colbert’s female staff in preparation for her show, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Late Night is available in theaters now.
