Rep Grace Meng (D-NY) released recordings of racist messages Friday she’s received since the passage of a bill she authored condemning anti-Asian racism.
Some of the messages contained language not only considered racist, but vulgar and filthy.
“Hey, you look like a Chinese virus, you fat slob, or maybe kung flu,” said one caller to Meng.
“I’ll call the FBI and put you in jail you dumbass motherf***, f*ck you and f*ck AOC.”
“Filthy people.”

Meantime, Asian Americans and others have been calling out the 164 Republicans who voted no. Those Republicans didn’t feel it was necessary to call out Anti-Asian racism despite more than 2500 reports of such incidents to the website stop AAPI hate.
